VALO is a modern candle house inspired by the Finnish word for light, crafting small-batch, chemical-conscious candles that bring warmth and intention to everyday living. Rooted in Nordic minimalism and artisanal craftsmanship, VALO creates nature-inspired scents and timeless designs for those who value balance, calm, and meaningful moments in their homes.

For VALO’s packaging, I aimed for something playful and distinctive. Research showed most candle packaging followed predictable patterns, so I designed VALO’s to feel elevated yet approachable, reflecting craftsmanship, intentionality, and personality. Each candle incorporates the brand pattern, inspired by the texture of a sweater, reinforcing a sense of warmth and comfort.
